Mission
Our mission is to ensure that the customer receives the high quality products we can produce in a way that is natural and respectful to our suppliers and the planet. We are here to create and collaborate in a way that makes everyone feel part of something more, something bigger while minimising any detrimental effects along the supply chain.
Vision
We strive to build long-lasting relationships between us and our customers and suppliers to better implement our beliefs by creating a business that is respectful in all areas across the board.
Story
It all started as an offhand discussion between three friends in a downtown Fresno cafe in the summer of 2004, which quickly turned into autumn and winter discussions. Miles, Paul and Jonathan had been interested in sustainability for the longest time, having seen and read so much about how the fashion industry was so damaging and corrupt. Each had their separate careers, yet this nagging feeling of being able to enrich their and other’s lives through joined thinking gave birth to an idea.
Twenty years later, and with a conscious, compassionate staff of hundreds, we are both humbled and proud of our achievements in making sustainable fashion that little bit more mainstream, but don’t worry: Miles, Paul and Jonathan are still meeting in downtown Fresno cafes, more committed than ever to fairness and respectability.
Product
We only collaborate with well-sourced suppliers from California who are as committed to sustainability and respectability across the board as we are, from the organic fibres which are grown in traceable cotton farms to the recycled packaging used in the shipping of our products.
The fibres used in our products are breathable, soft on the skin and perfectly natural for our environment.
Our production factories practice meticulous health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard to minimise waste.
Our People
These three gentlemen are in no way comfortable in being in the limelight and insist on sharing praise with each team member who shares in their vision and works hard to ensure its materialization:
Miles is the “brains”, having previously worked in data science. He is passionate about finding solutions to uphold our core values in every part of our company.
Paul is the “brawn”, dealing with logistics and ensuring a smooth operation where no one is left behind in terms of safety and security.
Jonathan is the “looks”, acting as the face of the company while he travels to guarantee that every aspect of production has our values at the forefront.
What Makes Us Different
We are very clear with our core values and beliefs and have a direct line from traceable cotton farms to our factories. The verifiability of all of this means that we do not need to create a smokescreen because it’s all out in the open.
We use credited auditors to inspect our factories regularly to conform to operational standards.
We want to show that growing a sustainable fashion business with empathy and compassion can be done.
